As with a number of other photographic themes featured here on my website, I learned about Paintography from some Google+ photographers. It's really just using an Oil Paint Photoshop filter, but it creates some beautiful effects that I enjoy. Then Adobe got rid of the filter, so I forgot about it, but I think it's back again. Maybe I'll have fun with it some more one of these days.
